An ordinance to amend title 14, known as the zoning ordinance providing for changes in zoning boundaries located at 3667 East Parker Road, as requested by Lakeside Contractors, L.L.C.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

 

SECTION I: Title 14, known as the zoning ordinance of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classification as follows:

 

From (I-2) General Industrial to I-1 Limited Industrial, the following described property:

 

A part of the South half of the Southeast quarter of Section 22, Township 14 North, Range 3 East and a part of the west half o the southwest quarter of Section 23, Township 14 North, Range 3 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:

 

Lot 2 of Meadows first replat of

A replat of Lot 1 of Meadows Construction minor plat and being described as follows: All that part of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 34, Township 14, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas, lying east of Missouri Pacific Railroad and south of US Highway No. 63 right of way of being more particularly described as follows:

 

Commencing at the northeast corner of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of said section 34; thence south 00 degrees 48’ 28” west 74.60 feet to the south right of way line of Highway No. 63, the point of beginning proper; thence south 00 degrees 49’ 28” west 1231.90 feet; thence north 89 degrees 56’ 55” west 1328.27 feet; thence north 00 degrees 11’ 33” East 160.78 feet to the east right of way line of Missouri Pacific Railroad; thence with a curve turning to the right with an arc length of 817.20’, with a radius of 5589.69’ along said railroad right of way, thence north 33 degrees 25’ 25” east 379.98 feet along said railroad right of way to the south right of way line of US Highway No. 63; thence North 88 degrees 36’ 39” East 574.43 feet along said Highway right of way, thence north 81 degrees 07’ 22” East 166.22 feet along highway right of way to the point of beginning, having an area of 1307820.03 square feet, 30.023 acres more or less and being subject to all public and private roads and easements. 


SECTION II: THE REQUESTED REZONING CLASSIFICATION IS I-1.

 

SECTION III: The City Clerk is hereby directed to amend the official zoning district boundary map of the city of Jonesboro, Arkansas, in so far as it relates to the land described herein above so that the zoning classification of said lands shall be in accordance with the provision of this ordinance.
