AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE 2008 ANNUAL BUDGET AND THE PAY PLAN FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO UPGRADE THE POSITION OF HUMAN RESOURCES TECHNICIAL IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT

Body

WHEREAS, Ordinance Number ORD-08:008 adopted the 2008 annual budget for the City of Jonesboro; and

 

WHEREAS, Resolution Number 2004:02 adopted the City Pay Plan; and

 

WHEREAS, it is recommended by the Finance Committee, to ensure sufficient staffing in the Human Resources Department, that the position of Human Resources Technician be upgraded;

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

 

SECTION 1: The 2008 annual budget for the City of Jonesboro is amended by the upgrade of the Human Resources Technician in the Human Resources Department to a grade 16.
