AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON A 60' RIGHT OF WAY AS REQUESTED BY NEA CLINIC

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the right of the public generally, in and to the 60' street right of way designated as follows:
Description:
The south 225' of matt (carter) drive and the unnamed street that connects matt (carter) drive and briar lane as shown on the record plat of carter second addition to the city of Jonesboro as recorded in the public records in Jonesboro, Craighead county, Arkansas, also being a part of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of section 28, township 14 north, range 4 east, Craighead county, Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of lot 1, block "c" of carter second addition to the city of Jonesboro as recorded in the public records in Jonesboro, Craighead county, Arkansas: thence south 00°45'17" west along the east right of way line of matt (carter) drive, 284.99 feet to the south right of way line of the unnamed street as shown on the record plat of said carter second addition: thence south 89°45'56" west along said south right of way line, 409.86 feet to the west right of way line of briar lane: thence north 00°44'12" east along said west right of way line, 59.98 feet: thence north 89°43'01" east departing the west right of way line of said briar lane and along the north right of way line of said unnamed street 349.92 feet to the west right of way line of matt (carter) drive: thence north 00°44'10" east along the west right of way line of said matt (carter) drive, 224.71 feet: thence north 89°45'47" east departing said west right of way line, 60.04 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all 38,131 sq. ft. or 0.88 acres, more or less.
Subject to easements, restrictions, reservation and rights-of-way of record.
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
