A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING A DONATION OF LAND FROM THE JONESBORO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION

WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Economic Development Corporation wishes to donate 9.69 acres of land required for use in the Industrial Park Rail Project to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas and the City of Jonesboro wishes to accept said donation of property. A copy of the Warranty Deed is attached hereto along with an access easement along Nestle Road;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The City of Jonesboro accepts the donation of land from the Jonesboro Economic Development Corporation for use in the Industrial Park Rail Project as well as the access easement along Nestle Road as described in the attached Warranty Deed.
2. The Mayor, Harold Copenhaver and City Clerk, April Leggett are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
