A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT WITH SC REALTY SERVICES, Inc., DBA SG360, FOR THE PURPOSE OF JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING

WHEREAS, an agreement with SG360 and the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, for janitorial services for the Municipal Building for 2020 was approved by Resolution 19:150; and,
WHEREAS, the agreement provided for an option of an extension at a mutually agreed amount including all actual price increases to SG360; and,
WHEREAS, SG360 would extend the contract to December 31, 2021 for a monthly increase of $339.00 per month to reflect their price increases, which would result in a new monthly amount of $4,807.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
Section 1. That the City of Jonesboro approves the contract in the amount of $4,807.00 per month in the janitorial services agreement for the Municipal Building with SC Realty Services, Inc., for a one year additional term ending December 31, 2021.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the agreements.
