RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF JONESBORO AND CRAIGHEAD COUNTY FOR THE HESTER STREET BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

WHEREAS, the Hester Street bridge located in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas needs replacement; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro and Craighead County have agreed to partner on the replacement of the bridge.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro that:

SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro shall enter into an Interlocal Agreement with Craighead County establishing the sharing of costs and labor for the bridge replacement.

SECTION 2:  Mayor Harold Perrin and City Clerk Donna Jackson are authorized to execute such documents as are necessary to effectuate this agreement.
