RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO PLACE A MUNICIPAL LIEN ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2005 BELT STREET, PARCEL 01-144171-13000, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS 72401, OWNED BY REMOS LLC

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 3 in Block “E” of Cedar Heights Second Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas, as shown by Plat in Deed Record 179 page 77, subject to Bill of Assurance in Deed Record 193 page 521, and to Amendment thereto in Deed Record 200 page 666, and to easements as shown on recorded plat.
WHEREAS, REMOS LLC, the owner of record, was properly notified of a code violation at 2005 Belt Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401, and refused to remove or correct the conditions identified by the code enforcement officer of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the code enforcement officer corrected the code violation using city funds in the amount of $165.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro seeks to perfect a lien against the affected property to cover the cost of the work pursuant to A.C.A 14-15-903; and,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
1. The city should proceed with placing a lien on the property located at 2005 Belt Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
