A RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE ABANDONMENT OF A 16 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT AS REQUESTED BY THE JACK HILL FAMILY TRUST

WHEREAS, The Jack Hill Family Trust has filed a petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the city abandon and vacate an undeveloped 16 foot Drainage Easement in:
A 16 foot Drainage Easement being the South 8 feet of Lot 5 of Hill Park Addition, Phase 3, and the North 8 feet of Lot 14 of Hill Park Addition, Phase 1 and 2, as Recorded in Book "C" at Page "244" and Book "C" at Page "294", Jonesboro, AR, CraigheadCounty, AR
WHEREAS, the petition has been presented to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Arkansas Law requires notice of such public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice advising the public of such request to vacate and abandon the above mentioned right of way and that this matter will be heard before the City Council on August 21, 2018 at 5:20 p.m. at the Municipal Building, Jonesboro, Arkansas
