AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE SECTION 117-164 AND 117-175 TO AMEND PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT CHANGES

WHEREAS, the City Of Jonesboro desires to make every effort to see that the public has notice of any requested changes in property uses in the city; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to clarify the Acreage and Streets.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:
SECTION ONE: That the Language of Ordinance Section 117-164 shall be amended by changing section b (2) as follows:
(2) Minimum district area. The minimum area for a PD district shall be one acre. In calculating the minimum area for a PD district, the measurements shall include the area of all dedicated streets entirely within the boundary of the proposed PD, and one-half of the area of all boundary or perimeter streets.
SECTION TWO: That the Language of Ordinance Section117-175 shall be amended by changing section a (3) as follows:
(3) The internal streets and primary and secondary roads that are proposed properly interconnect with the surrounding existing road network. All streets will be public unless a waiver is granted by the Jonesboro City Council.
